About Dr. Joe

Dr. Joseph A. Shivers earned a master’s degree and doctorate from Harvard University. He also has a master’s degree from Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin-Wallace College (now Baldwin-Wallace University).

As an educator, Dr. Joe has served in many roles: secondary school teacher, university instructor, curriculum director, middle school principal, testing coordinator, personnel director, high school principal, superintendent, and member of the editorial board of the Harvard Educational Review and of the editorial board of American Secondary Education.

He aims to help all Dr. Joe’s Learning Center students maximize their learning potential.

College Admissions Consulting

Includes Three one-hour consultations; $75 per additional hour

Includes four one-hour meetings; $60 per additional hour

K-12 Tutoring

Includes one-on-one tutoring with a Dr. Joe’s Learning Center educator.

$50/hour For youngers students this could be two, 30-minute sessions.
